What happens after class EIGHT ?
Quite simply, his confidence, empathy and emotional intelligence is born of his Steiner DNA- he always stands out in a good way, whether at state school or playing his beloved football all over the country, he's the captain, the leader.

When our students finish Class Eight (Year Nine), they embark on the next stage of their educational journey. Our former pupils have progressed to a wide variety of schools - from local comprehensives, to other Steiner Waldorf schools and everything in between. Over the last several years we have enhanced the Middle School to ensure that children leaving at the end of Class Eight are well prepared to transition into any setting they choose, both socially and academically. We do not select pupils based on their academic attainment or regularly test them throughout their education with us, but we are very proud of the high grades they go on to achieve nonetheless.
Over recent years, our former pupils have moved on to the following schools:
Acland Burghley School
The BRIT School
Brookwood Park School
Francis Holland School
Greenwich Steiner School
Mary Magdalene Academy
Michael Hall
Mulberry UTC
Northbridge House, Canonbury
St. Christopher School, Letchworth
St. Michael's Steiner School
They have gone on to fare very well both in national exams and in the New Zealand Certificate of Waldorf Education. Please see our GCSE RESULTS gallery.
I believe that Steiner education gave me a strong sense of self, safety to explore the world (which has profoundly affected my academic curiosity), a healthy mode of expressing my feelings, and a self-motivation that I think would not have manifested if I had been tested from an early age.
