After the awesome WESP 2024 camp, we're excited to let you know that we're gearing up to bring on board teachers, counsellors, and volunteers for WESP Summer Camp 2025. Sign up to be a WESP team member and get ready for another amazing summer with us!

OUR CAMP STORY:
  • We organize international camps for children hailing from diverse corners of the world, fostering learning, creativity, and shared joy amidst the beauty of nature. We follow a balanced Waldorf approach, creating a multicultural environment where children can enjoy and learn together.
  • In our tenth year of organising summer camps, we are thrilled that this year's camp will take place in Latvia, marking a continued collaboration with Adazi Free Waldorf School. Our previous camps have spanned across Latvia, China, Lithuania, Sweden, and Austria, and we're eager to make this year's experience even more special.
  • Our camp is for everyone worldwide, and we mainly speak English. If needed, we translate things into Latvian, Chinese, Russian, German, and more, making sure everyone feels included and comfortable.
  • Our camp will welcome approximately 80 children ranging in age from 8 to 16 years old.
  • The entire camp community is organized into age-specific groups, with approximately 10-15 kids in each group.
  • An experienced Waldorf teacher and a dedicated counsellor oversee each group. A teacher is someone who currently works in a Waldorf school or has experience working in one previously. A counsellor may be a Waldorf student, graduate, or enthusiast. Additionally, younger groups are assisted by a volunteer.

WESP 2025 DATES:
  • 27th of July - 5th of August (WESP team arrives on July 26th).
APPLY FOR A POSITION:
For this camp, we need around:
  • 8-9 Waldorf teachers

WESP 2025 LOCATION:
  • The Camp is nestled in the beautiful Gauja National Park, just an hour’s drive east of Riga, the capital of Latvia, offering children the opportunity to revel in the majesty of nature, surrounded by lush forests and verdant meadows. The Gauja National Park boasts an array of natural wonders, including captivating rivers, ancient forests, and picturesque trails, providing an ideal setting for an immersive and enriching experience.
