Welcome to a thriving school on the Islington-Hackney borders serving the local community in all its wondrous diversity...

Our teachers come from many walks of life and are united in their endeavour to apply Rudolf Steiner's art of education to modern-day needs. There is no head teacher in a Steiner school; the teachers work together as colleagues to run the school, with the aid of parents, friends and trustees.

As well as having completed the Steiner Teaching Training course, many of the teachers have other teaching qualifications as well as university degrees. The school takes advantage of regular visits to both the kindergartens and the classes from advisors recognised by the Steiner Schools Fellowship. These advisors offer valuable feedback to the teachers with regard to classroom management and teaching standards. We need teachers with courage to protect our work while embracing change.
