Welcome to a thriving school on the Islington-Hackney borders serving the local community in all its wondrous diversity...

The school is a registered charity (No. 1076454) and currently has 4 Trustees. The Chair of the Trustees is Mr Jacob Tas. Any communication for the attention of the Trustees may be sent to Mr Tas care of the school office or direct to him at his address:

170 Lordship Road, London N16 5HB.

We would like to hear from anyone interested in joining us as a Trustee.

This group consists of teachers, admin staff (administrator and development officer) and parents (convenors of mandate groups on finance, premises, communications, fundraising, class reps), friends and Trustees. It is responsible for the management of the school in all areas other than the work in the classroom. It has a similar role to that of a school governing body. The school's educational direction is the responsibility of the Teachers Meeting. As in all Steiner schools, there is no head teacher; the responsibility for the school lies collectively within its staff body. All teachers and the school administrator are members of this meeting, which is usually held every Thursday afternoon. The Teachers Meeting is supported by the Steiner School Fellowship . As a young school we are under the sponsorship of Michael Hall School in Forest Row, Sussex. Members of the College of Teachers at Michael Hall regularly join our Teachers Meeting to advise and strengthen our school.
