St Paul’s Steiner School provides a dynamic education that supports the development of well-rounded human beings who are resourceful, creative, responsible and curious.
Housed in a beautiful Grade II* listed building in Islington, St Paul’s is an independent, non-selective and non-denominational school for children aged 3-14 years old. We aim to prepare children to meet the challenges of the 21st century, and to develop the problem-solving skills required for a sustainable future, through an education that connects with them in an inspiring and practical way. In this digital age, when facts are so easily accessed, it is creativity, imagination and intuition that set us apart - and this is at the heart of everything we do.

Read MoreClass VI Play– The Tragedy of Julius Caesar Class VI spent three weeks preparing for their class play - The Tragedy of Julius Caesar. Class plays are important in building the social strength of the group, and giving the pupils a sense of interdependence in the whole class. Movement and concentration skills are also developed along with articulation and diction. Other social skills such as listening to each other's thoughts and ideas are an important part of the process. Class VI were very enthusiastic about the play and worked incredibly hard to hold their individual lines and develop their characters. Other additions to the play included music and singing. Well done Class VI – you are amazing! #wearewaldorf #teacher #steinerwaldorf #teacherlife #creativeeducation #waldorfeducation #performance #schoolperfomance #schoolplays #acting #schoolplay #JuliusCaesar #ancientrome #schoolproduction
Read MoreClass III is the year when the students at St Paul's encounter their first big project. After learning about shelters and cultures from all over the world, the students took time to plan their own individual shelters. After presenting their ideas to their peers, they undertook a two week intensive to build their own shelters within the classroom. From there they went onto present their projects to each other and then the school body. Much learning and growth was experienced for the students in Class 3, developing a deeper appreciation of how perseverance through moments of unforeseen obstacles, frustration and error can result in something wonderful! #project #projects #art #sculpture #modelmaking #artinschool #school #creative #teacherlife #steinerwaldorf #wearewaldorf #teacher #shelter #making #CreativeJourney #creativeeducation
